Overview

GameGPT ("we", "our", "the app") is an AI-powered social gaming platform. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

• Account Information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. Guest users are identified by a randomly generated device ID only.
• Game Data: Games you create (prompts, configurations), games you play, scores, likes, comments, and follows.
• Usage Data: Session duration, games played, features used, and app interactions for improving the experience.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and screen size for optimizing performance.
• Advertising Identifiers: Your device's advertising ID and related ad interaction data, used by our advertising provider to serve and measure ads. See "Advertising" below.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the GameGPT service
• To generate personalized game recommendations
• To display your created games to other users (public by default)
• To maintain leaderboards and social features
• To prevent abuse and enforce community guidelines
• To display advertising, which keeps the app free to use

Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• DeepSeek: Your game prompts are sent to DeepSeek's API to generate game code. DeepSeek's data usage policy applies.
• OpenAI: Used as a fallback AI provider when DeepSeek is unavailable, and for content moderation and automated screenshot review of generated games. OpenAI's data usage policy applies.
• Supabase: Our database provider, which stores your account and game data securely.
• Google (Firebase): For authentication if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Google AdMob: Our advertising provider. See "Advertising" below.

Advertising

GameGPT is free and supported by advertising. We use Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, rewarded and app-open ads.

• What is collected: To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and process your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID), IP address, device and app information, and data about your interaction with ads (such as whether an ad was shown or clicked).
• Personalised ads: Where we have a valid basis to do so, ads may be personalised based on an advertising profile. Where we do not, we request non-personalised ads, which use only limited data such as your approximate location and the app you are using.
• Your choice: If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before serving personalised ads, using Google's User Messaging Platform. You can change your choice at any time from the "Privacy options" / "Manage ad choices" control in the app's Profile tab.
• Resetting your ad ID: You can reset or delete your advertising identifier, or opt out of ad personalisation entirely, in your Android device settings under Settings → Google → Ads.
• Content rating: We limit ad content to a "parental guidance" maximum rating.
• Google's partners: For the list of companies that may process data for advertising and their policies, see Google's ad technology providers and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

We do not use ad data to identify you personally, and we do not serve ads inside a running game.

Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are never stored (we use OAuth). Database access is restricted with row-level security policies.

Your Rights

• Access: You can view all your data in the Profile tab.
• Deletion: Contact us at dhimanshubindal@gmail.com to request account and data deletion.
• Portability: You can request an export of your game data.

Children's Privacy

GameGPT is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us for deletion.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
